Process video: Swimming
Updated: Aug 20, 2021
A process video for you of this illustration 'Swimming'. Fun fact: I never really plan what I am going to draw before I begin filming. I leave it up to the moment, to see what will come to me, what will happen or in which direction I will go. Spontaneity often leads to a fascinating twist, a way in which the colours merge into one another that you would not otherwise discover. It is a workflow where fast decisions must be made, not tapping into the slight fear of "what if this ruins it all?". It does not matter in the end. If everything is messed up in the end, take a new paper and start again.
Enjoy the video!
